About "Be the Maker" Camps
Be the Maker Camps at Stuff by SJ are hands-on baking and decorating experiences designed to spark creativity and confidence in young makers. Kids learn real decorating skills, work with professional tools, and bring home treats they’re proud of — all in a fun, supportive environment inside our Montclair bakery.
We offer two types of camps: Summer Camps and Single-Day Camps.

Summer Camps (4-Day Baking Camp)

Description:
Our Be the Maker Summer Camps are our signature, in-depth baking experience. Over four days, kids rotate through baking projects, decorating lessons, and hands-on creative activities. Each day features new treats, new skills, and tons of fun — ending with a beautifully decorated cake they bring home on Friday.
Sample Summer Camp Schedule:

Single-Day Camps (Schools Closed Day Camp)

One Day · Mini Version of Summer Camp · When School Is Closed
Description:
When school is out, Be the Maker Single-Day Camps offer a shorter, high-energy version of our summer program. Kids bake, decorate, and create in a fun 5-hour experience designed to keep them engaged, learning, and entertained.
These camps follow a “mini” camp structure where kids complete 2–3 projects — and take home treats the same day.
