I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA and moved to New Jersey in 2014. After many years in corporate retail, I followed my passion for baking and launched Stuff by SJ during the pandemic in 2020.

What began as a virtual bakeshop—crafting custom cakes, cookies, and chocolate treats—quickly grew with the support of an incredible community. In 2022, we opened our first brick-and-mortar location on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, NJ.

Stuff by SJ is a woman-owned small business known for handmade, custom cakes, cupcakes, treat boxes, and artisan desserts that taste as amazing as they look. Everything is made from scratch using premium ingredients and a lot of heart.

We’re proud to offer a high-touch experience: personalized consultations, custom packaging, and free local delivery. Our shop also hosts "Be the Maker" DIY events—from kids’ baking workshops and seasonal camps to private parties and creative classes.
